Heroes of Revival

Awakening Fire Conference 2026

God uses ordinary people to make history: the slave Joseph and the shepherd boy David in
Israel, the fisherman Peter, as well as the monk Columbanus, through whom Europe was evangelized. Or consider the waiter William Joseph Seymour, who sparked the revival on Azusa Street, or the sisters Peggy and Christine Smith, both over 80 years old, in the Hebrides.

They were simple people who didn't rest until God's fire was kindled. They were "Heroes of Revival." God is still looking for "Heroes of Revival" today.

He is calling you — will you be one of them?

David Hogan

David is an apostle of faith in our time. His ministry in Mexico has seen hundreds of new churches planted under the most challenging circumstances, miraculous healings, and even the dead brought back to life through the power of prayer.

David Hathaway

Eddie James

Eddie James developed a passionate love for worship and gospel at the age of nine. In 1995, he founded the Phoenix Mass Choir, whose debut album “Higher” reached number 3 on the Billboard gospel chart. Numerous solo projects and the production of a large number of albums followed. Eddie James has become internationally known through contributions to Fox News, the Oprah Winfrey Network and Charisma Magazine.
Eddie combines powerful worship with deep social commitment—especially through programs for young people in challenging life situations. He has traveled to more than 60 countries with his initiatives. Eddie James' ministry has produced numerous successful worship leaders and ministries, including Maverick City Music, Joe L. Barnes, and Dante Bowe.

In Argentina, Jobst Bittner initiated a non-denominational prayer movement with more than 60,000 participants. His book, Breaking the Veil of Silence—a Christian bestseller—deals with working through the family's Nazi past and the significance of Jewish roots in the Christian faith. The book has been published in 14 languages. In 2007, Jobst Bittner and his wife Charlotte founded March of Life—a commemorative and reconciliation movement against antisemitism. The march takes place annually in over a hundred cities in over 20 countries. Jobst Bittner ministers as a speaker and author at international conferences and holds worldwide Breaking the Veil of Silence events together with his team.
