We all have goals for the future. Well thought out plans that seem bullet proof at the time. We take ease thinking that if we stick to our plan nothing can go wrong. Four young men from the middle of Indiana thought the very same thing until the day they tuned in to the will of God instead of their own.
This melodic rock n' roll infused metal band takes you away from the gloom persona of hard rock and brings a fun, energetic flare of life in contrast to anything in the music scene, thus far. Music has been a passion shared between them for quite some time, but with no real purpose, no real inspiration to draw from. It wasn’t until they put down their plans and followed God’s that they realized that they could make an impact on people through their music. Since then, The Protest has gone through years of touring, recording, struggles, failures, and victories to find that they are even more passionate about reaching others with the love that Christ has shown them. Now, with the release of their second album “Great Lengths” they are more focused than ever to reach audiences with the love and hope that Christ has shown them.
Over the years, The Protest has been blessed to tour the country and share the stage with many bands such as Family Force 5, Tesla, Demon Hunter, Icon For Hire, Jack Russell's Great White, The Letter Black, Nine Lashes, Decyfer Down, Sent by Ravens, 12 Stones, Ashes Remain, Disciple, and Fireflight. They are also very humbled by the success of their debut album “Game Changer” that topped many charts worldwide. Though they are very grateful for the success, they are realizing each day that it’s not about them and it never has been. It’s about God and telling people about Him. It’s about loving others and showing them Christ in their life. It’s about being a servant. It’s about God. The flesh is weak. The human nature of this ministry wants recognition and success, but what is success? Is it having money? Is it being known? As far as recognition goes, it should be given to the one who makes all things possible. Jesus.
So if you are down and out, worried, hated, tainted by sin, or lost - please come see The Protest in concert. They don't have all the answers and they definitely aren’t perfect but they WILL pray with you and offer all the love and encouragement that they can.
Als Inspiration und Einflüsse nennt diese Band unter anderem Switchfoot, Needtobreathe, The 1975 und The Rolling Stones. Written in Kings sind eine walisische Rockband, die deine Welt durch ihre Musik und Auftritte verändern will, selbst wenn es nur für einen kleinen Moment ist. Das Herz der Band ist es, der Gemeinde überall mit ihrer Musik zu dienen. Sie sind Botschafter bei Compassion UK und setzten sich auch sozial ein. Ihre Rockmusik wird euch gefallen.
In der internationalen christlichen Musikszene gibt es eine Band, die zurzeit ganz groß im Kommen ist. Die Rede ist ganz klar von TWELVE24, einer HipHop/Dance/Pop-Combo aus Manchester, England. Josh und Ryan stammen aus unterschiedlichen Ländern. Seit 2008 machen sie zusammen Musik, nachdem sie sich auf der Message Academy (einer Art Bibelschule der Organisation The Message Trust) in Manchester kennengelernt haben. Ihr Bandname beruht auf dem Vers Johannes 12,24. Seit einigen Monaten erobern sie Europa und waren auch schon öfter in Deutschland.
Burning Nations - eine junge Band aus dem sonnigen Süden Deutschlands. Mit ihrem cleanen Gesang und melodischen Gitarrenriffs auf der einen Seite, und Shouts und drückenden Breakdowns auf der andere, versehen diese fünf Jungs den Metalcore mit ihrer ganz speziellen Note, inspiriert durch Bands wie 'August Burns Red', 'As I Lay Dying' oder 'The Devil Wears Prada'.
Nachdem sich die Band 2010 zusammengefunden hat, ging es an's Lieder schreiben. Im Frühjahr 2011 nahm die Band für ihre EP sieben Songs in Eigenregie auf.
Nach vielen regionalen und einigen überregionalen Auftritten im vergangenen Jahr, ist die Band nun gespannt, was noch auf sie zukommen mag...
Myrical-I und Cavar - zwei Rapper aus dem Ruhrgebiet. Zusammen sind sie WORD. Mit abwechslungsreichen Beats und eindeutiger Botschaft, machen sie seit 2013 Musik. Mit dem Gospel-Rap Movement arbeiten sie mit anderen Künstlern zusammen, organisieren gemeinsame Projekte und fördern junge Talente im christlichen Rap. Die Verbreitung des Evangeliums von Jesus Christus steht für sie an erste Stelle. Die zwei junge Männer träumen schon ewig davon ein Werk zu schaffen, mit aussagekräftigen Liedern, die vorallem zum Nachdenken anregen und die gesellschaftliche Sicht auf Dinge relativieren.
Junger, lebendiger Pop Rock aus Reutlingen. Die Newcomer haben schon in ganz Baden Württemberg gezeigt was sie können und machen das jetzt auch bei uns. Staryend wird Frische in die Halle bringen. Das Publikum wird tanzen und springen, rocken und singen.
