Markus Wenz is the leader of the Holy Spirit Night Movement and part if the leadership team of Gospel Forum church in Stuttgart, Germany. Him and his wife are pastors and their hearts burn to see a young generation living supernaturally in freedom and in the power of the Holy Spirit. After Markus had some marking experience with the power of the Holy Spirit himself, his mission is to make room for this power by equipping a generation for every sphere of society.
HSN Worship is a group of people who love the presence of God, the move of the Spirit and burns for revival. Revival begins when we have a defining encounter with God and as a result start to transform our environment through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is why it is the band’s desire is to lead people into an authentic and life-altering encounter with the Holy Spirit through excellent and free worship.
Gui Brazil is a DJ and music producer in the field of Contemporary Christian music. He is married to Maísa Brazil and lives in Lisbon, Portugal with his family. Gui Brazil started his career at the age of 18 with the desire to make electronic music inspired by God. In 2015 he started his international tour "Shake The World". Gui Brazil has songs released in different languages with artists from different nationalities. He has performed at major festivals around the world, including the largest Christian Electronic Music festival in Latin America, Lumination World (Guatemala) at Casa de Dios church. The "Shake The World" tour has already been to more than 26 countries around the world such as, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Latvia, Czech Republic, Kenya, Uganda, and many others.
Elsie is 29 years old and was raised in the French part of Switzerland. Since her wedding in the summer of 2015 she has been living in Germany with her husband Markus and they have a 4 year old son named Karl and a 7 month old daughter named Emma. Elsie has a degree in Business Management and works part time as a pastor at Gospel Forum. She also has a passion for seeing people live a healthy lifestyle, both naturally and spiritually. She loves to help people encounter a mighty and personal God. She’s always up for things that make people laugh and - as you’d expect from someone from the French-speaking part of Switzerland - she’s not appalled by a glass of good wine.
Layla Nahavandi is an international preacher, writer and Bible teacher known for preaching the Word of God with revelation & fire. After coming from a Muslim background, Layla's family was radically saved in the early 90s. This life-changing encounter gave Layla a passion for preaching the gospel and mobilizing the Church to reach the world.
Layla is currently completing a PhD in theology focussed on the early Church. This deep study in theological history stirs her spirit to recover the zeal and power of the early Church and fuels her desire to bring revival and reformation to the Church of Today.
Layla is a half-Persian, half-Irish, British-born, Kiwi-raised Aussie who lives in Melbourne, Australia. Layla has been in full-time ministry for over 15 years, serving in many pastoral roles in Church life and speaking at Churches, camps, conferences, universities, and events worldwide. Layla is part of the faculty at TheosUniversity based in Nashville, Tennessee and is also a global evangelist based out of Neuma church in Melbourne, Australia.
Dominique (Dom) hat in England Theologie studiert und vier Jahre lang in Derby, England, als Pastor gearbeitet. Er ist zusammen mit seiner Frau Sarah Gründer und leitender Pastor der citychurch. Im Juni 2015 sind Dom & Sarah nach Köln gezogen und haben die citychurch [ehemals "Köln City Church“] in ihrem Wohnzimmer gestartet. Heute hat die citychurch drei Standorte: In Köln, Aachen und Bergisch Gladbach, wo die beiden mit ihren drei Kindern Maxime, Levi und Hanna leben. Dom's Herz schlägt dafür, in das persönliche und geistliche Wachstum von Menschen zu investieren und Leiter wie Teams stark zu machen, um die lokale Kirche zu bauen.
Das Holy Spirit Night Movement besteht aus lokalen Kirchen und Diensten welche leidenschaftlichen dafür eintreten, das Wirken des Heiligen Geistes in ihrer Stadt zu sehen. Vor 20 Jahren fand die erste Holy Spirit Night in Baden-Württemberg statt und wächst seit dem zu einer Europaweiten Bewegung. Holy Spirit Nights finden in sechs verschiedenen Ländern und 18 verschiedenen Städten Städten statt. Unterschiedlichste Kirchengemeinden verbinden sich, um die unaufhaltsame Botschaft des Evangeliums und das Wirken der Kraft Gottes in die Generation hineinzutragen. Wir glauben, dass gerade jetzt eine besondere Zeit für alle Gläubigen ist. Wir glauben, dass wahre Veränderung und Transformation, nur durch eine authentische Beziehung mit Gott erfolgen kann. Deshalb trifft sich das Holy Spirit Night Movement Team regelmäßig, um Jüngerschaft miteinander und Zeit mit dem Heiligen Geist zu verbringen. Diese Verbindung und Zusammenarbeit mit den lokalen Gemeinden ist einer der wichtigsten Faktoren um unsere Bewegung zu stärken. Wir glauben auch, dass der Heilige Geist die Herzen verschiedener Generation, Denominationen und Gemeinden berühren wird, um einen starken Bund der Einheit zu schaffen. Wir glauben, dass durch diese Einheit Zeichen und Wunder möglich sind, welche nur Gott vollbringen kann. Wir glauben ebenfalls dass, durch eine Atmosphere des ständigen Fortschritts in Jüngerschaft und Gebet eine Begegnung mit dem Heiligen Geist möglich wird. Die Holy Spirit Night wird durch ein lokales Leitungs-Team organisiert. All die Leiter der verschiedenen Orte treffen sich regelmäßig, im Holy Spirit Night Leitungskreis. Das Holy Spirit Night Movement besteht aus einem kleinen Team, welches von Markus Wenz geleitet wird.
