Isaac Liu first met his father Brother Yun when he was 5 years old, after he was released from incarceration in a Chinese prison due to his faith. When Isaac was 11, he began to evangelize his neighborhood. Due to persecution his family fled to Germany in 2001, where Isaac completed his theological training in Beröa. He ministers together with his wife as Pastor of the All Nations Church in Frankfurt.
