Danny Plett was born in British Columbia, Canada into a musical family. At twelve years old he began to write songs.
His debut solo album, “You’re The One”, came out in 1984 when he was 21. Since then he has recorded 14 further album projects.
At the beginning of his career he toured and gave concerts with such well known artists and groups as B.J. Thomas, Silverwind, Michael Card and Steve Camp.
In 1992, together with his wife Sherri, he moved to Germany to work as a singer/songwriter with Janz Team Ministries, now known as TeachBeyond. Danny and Sherri have two adult children, Lindsey, Jason and son-in-law Brandon (married to Lindsey).
In Germany he is well known as a solo artist, songwriter, musician, producer and worship leader. His albums are best sellers and have sold in the tens of thousands.
